Well boys, the hype is real. After two days of owning this beast I don’t know if I can go back to a lower power Wrangler again. I couldn’t stop giggling the whole way home from the dealership. Put a clear coat of Zurich Shield on it when it got home and called it a day. She’s a beaut Clark! Everyone that ordered and hasn’t received it yet don’t worry, it’s well worth the wait.

Other than X-Recon, our builds look almost identical. Any regret going with the black grille over painted to match? Like you, I ordered black satin grille. Just curious how it looks in real life with the Sarge? Bada** looking Jeep.

Tomorrow will be exactly two weeks since I took delivery! So enjoyable! Have 480mi now, 460mi since break in. Runs very strong with break in done way I always do all my performance vehicles! First 20mi. No wonder they always run so good!

What do you do for the first 20 miles? I thought break-in was 500 miles...

Congrats by the way, looks amazing. You must be delighted they're not bringing back that color at least not near term... Will be extremely unique.

...and still no buildsheet yet - looks like it might be first in line then for next week.

It makes sense. My snagged order (735323) is from 11-30-2020 with an ETA ship date of 07-31-2021. It's sad that some people had to wait as long as you did, but it appears many of the 735s are finally being built and or delivered. Good news! Congrats my friend. I hope it makes the smile even bigger on your face once you can floor it.
Thank you! Babied her the whole way home - all 100 miles of it - smiling every second!

Thanks! With engine up to operating temperature, I vary speed and rpm’s and a couple bursts of acceleration w/o bouncing off rev limiter. Engines are run at factory and tested varying rpm’s. Once shipped to plant and installed in vehicle the engine is tested again. Most are already broke in when shipped. GM Mechanical Engineer for 20 yrs. Current ME for tier 1 supplier. That’s how I have been able to escalate my builds with Jeep customer service and have priority put on both of them. Order should not sit in D or D1 for more than 30 business days. Just knew how to have them moved along. Billet silver was ordered 4/27 and delivered to dealer on 6/30 (9 weeks). Sting Gray was ordered on 5/22 and should arrive at dealer before end of month just over 9 weeks. Worked Jeep CS hard on both builds and they have given me consistent updates.

So why does FCA recommend the 500-mile break-in period?

Well, almost 6 mths but 700116 finally arrived... As others have mentioned the dealer tried to charge another 7k but I had print outs of my texts and emails confirming MSRP and they backed down... I guess I can't blame them for trying, the market is so hot that Kia is getting ADMs on their cars... Put 35's on it and Rock Slider power steps... she is ready to go... like others, I can't wait to get my 500miles.. its like a caged lion, it really wants to run and what a beautiful sounding machine... it is truly special and worth the wait...

So glad I did the satin black grille, everyone that sees it always points that out because it looks cool.

The satin grille is on of the options I don't understand. They charge $325 for the option that you can get from Mopar for the same. You would end up paying the same and have 2 grilles. The same with the floor mats, you lose the carpet and for the $165 you can get mats and save the carpet.
