My wife, who bought a Rubicon a year or two ago and got me wanting this 392, has been dealing with her sales rep from our local dealer since we ordered it and just informed me that the dealer is going to charge me $5K over MRSP after telling her it would be sold to me at MRSP since we ordered it in January. That's awful. You are well within your rights to ask for a signed offer. And stories of why car dealers have such bad reputations are endless.

I’m unfortunately having to pay over sticker. 5k over. I’m in Colorado and I went through 3 dealers until I found one that would negotiate on the over sticker price. They originally wanted 10k over. One dealer wanted 35k over sticker!!! It’s super irritating!!

Did you put a deposit down ? Did you get the offer in writing even if it is just an email confirmation of the terms? If you have not changed the deal you can sue them... I would and will if my dealer trys any such thing.

For y'all with ETA's: mine has been in "shipping stage" (according to Jeep Chat) for a few days now but they don't have an ETA to provide. I'm sure you'd find it hard to believe that I can't currently get my dealer to respond to phone calls or emails. Wondering if anyone had "shipping stage" without an actual ETA for a little while?
