I wonder the same. 35 inch tires and 4:56 gears, combined with the 392 power... I know the Danas in the 392 are "upgraded," but we are approaching the need for Dana 60s.Gears (obviously) are for the larger tires, imagining the TCU is also reprogrammed... but wonder if anything else will be upgraded to cover the extra weight/mass and torque effects... might have to consider ordering a 2022 next year once we see what this looks like...
Cryptic Jeep Teasers:
3.36
12.9
40.4
47.4
100.1
3.73 straight to 4.56 or even 4.88 on later order... crazy. Do most people(they just want 35 in tires) even know what that means....oh I'm worrying too much, none of my business...I wonder the same. 35 inch tires and 4:56 gears, combined with the 392 power... wow that looks fantastic! Did you have to make any other changes for the 37’s to fit or is everything else factory stock?
[/QUOTEThe dealer put on the 37s with the stock rims. Close to 200 miles now and absolutely no rubbing even with the wheels turned full right and left. I've run over some parking blocks and a curb or two and still no rubbing. As for the suspension its totally stock. I did add Mopar spare tire relocation kit along with the Mopar rear brake light relocation kit to mount the spare. I had already ordered the hinge gate reinforcement as an option when I ordered the 392. Haven't really flexed it out off road yet but for now no issue.
I never drove it with the 33s on it. Dealer already had the 37s on when I got there. Dealer was great getting it ready for delivery. Tires added another 18 pounds at each corner so I'm sure it slowed it down, but holy crap this thing is fast. Much faster then my 2017 Raptor. Comparing it to my recently sold Track Hawk : - ( I'd say Jeep is right on with the acceleration numbers. Still in break in mode so only half throttle up to 5000 RPM and I'm at 60 way too fast. Not supposed to break 50 yet. But even with the 37s, I'd bet I'm real close to that 4.5 0-60.How does it feel with the 37s compared to the 33s? Did you notice much of a drop off with performance? Great looking vehicle. Thank you
