At first I thought this was progress. Any reason for going to C. As far as I know mine was never C, went from BX to D.
no idea. 💁‍♂️

392 On Order
Sorry to hear that! Same thing happened to me yesterday, which was my delivery date (5/21). They had been moving my delivery date back for almost 30 days but recently it didn't move, so I was getting excited. Then, bam, back to D status and the GM said he's looking into it.
Bummed since I was a 11/19 order from the 2 dealer allotments. The other delivered a month ago.

VIN #699792, Graphite, hinge reinforcement, blah blah blah
How could you guys that ordered back in November not be sitting in your brand new 392 right now? I don't get how someone who ordered in November is sitting at D and someone who ordered a few weeks ago is already in the build process... I ordered in January and I have been sitting at D1 for almost 45 days now... so much for a 30 day limit in D1...

And I was called yesterday that I went back to D1 status, magically. Ship date now 5/27.

It appears they are filling dealer inventory orders before customer orders. Pressure from dealers so they can get inflated prices??

VIN 736065 —- back to D this morning after spending yesterday in C. What a roller coaster.

given my order is not an allocated order and the back and forth I’ve had with the dealer, rep, and Jeep Customer Service about whether or not it’s actually gonna be built, I decided to put a deposit down on a 2nd 392 yesterday - a D1 allocated order at another dealership. Dealer is sending me the actual VIN in a few.

what’s better than one 392? Two 392s. ...Ummm, wait a second. 😳😎 If both of these get built, there’s gonna be an ad for one of these mid-summer. Of course my better half is already calling dibs on the second one - ‘yeah, not sure about that sweetie’. Oh boy ...

When will production of MY21 stop for the 392. Anyone know how it all works. If you have VIN and a "D" status what are the odds the unit gets built as a MY21. How may 392's are estimated to be built.
