Yup, that's why I'm tracking for trends - there are still BuildSheet data voids on at least 21 VINs earlier than your 724793 VIN (assuming this is your VIN)

Generally, not seeing any logic to those VINs showing any update - they continue to bounce around.

I ordered mine on 11/23/2020, receive a VIN in mid-April 2021, and also still seeing completions on VINs listed after mine.

Yep, that one's mine. Don't get the process at all. You would think that they'd be able to give you a schedule, understanding that things do get delayed.. Haven't waited as long as some of you guys, but honestly don't know what I'd do with myself if I did.

It hasnā€™t made any sense the way there building them my order was the same date as yours 11-23-20 there was very little progress until about 30 days ago it Went to D1, the dealer email me this morning that it shipped last night with ETA to Las Vegas of 5-20. Donā€™t give up it will happen.

VIN 699843 update: Yesterday my sales guy told me I am JB (body shop) so I am progressing. He calls me and says: ā€œmy manager and I know why your build is taking so long. Itā€™s because of the half doors.ā€œ I kind of already figured that when I first placed my order in November that Iā€™d have to wait more because of that. Fingers crossed that not much more waiting. Iā€™m supposed to have 5-10-21 ship date (Monday) but still donā€™t have Crypto sticker. Received a build sheet earlier this week.

It's nice when those posting also reference their VINs, it helps us validate our tracking sheets.
Thanks to those that do.

Stay at home dad to 2 munchkins, best job in the world!
Iā€™ve read that they may be grouping them by destination, more than by VIN. Which makes sense from a logistics standpoint. If youā€™re managing the storage and rail yard organizing, you donā€™t want multiple vehicles that would have been headed to the same area, (more efficiently I mean, as in one trip to deliver them all versus multiple) to then be separated and stuck behind rows of vehicles that were organized simply by VIN #ā€™s.

Which makes sense to me, as it seems like not doing that would make for an even bigger logistical and storage nightmare, because imagine if you then also tossed unexpected parts shortages and availability issues into the mix...

Well, at least in my op, you can start to see why the timing of builds, regardless of vins is all over the place.

@Membrain Thatā€™s just a theory based on otherā€™s comments that I have read, has there been any evidence to bare that out? (The grouped by destinations part?)

Interesting idea, but would totally make sense from a supply chain mgmt standpoint.

we need VINs and locations. šŸ˜‰736065, NC ... but apparently one of the ā€œ80ā€

I would agree with that but my dealer has 4 orders from the release date. 1 has been delivered and two are on the way. Mine is still waiting at D1.

Yup, mine was a 678xxx vin here in the Windy City, and I know that it wasnā€™t the only one delivered to the area that day, since my dealer told me that two were dropped at their dealership that day. I donā€™t know the other oneā€™s vin, or when it was ordered though.

But, I did not realize until AFTER it arrived, that they were delivered via hauler instead of by train, because we were within 250 miles of the plant. So I have no clue as to how much impact that made on when it was built.
