2021 Jeep Rubicon 392 first Vin and order, build and delivery tracking list

I’m looking nationwide for a rig right now and called ~70 dealers over the past week; only a couple possible leads and nothing firm.
As an aside, it’s staggering how consistently Jeep dealers (the sales GMs, specifically) bait and switch price (online vs actual), say they will call back in a certain time and don’t, and/or don’t know their product. 70 dealers and maybe 10 had their act together. But, I digress ...

Indeed. I was doing exactly what you did, and enjoying exactly same experience. Bait and switch, lying, talking bs, making things up, bashing other dealers..They never call back or reply when they say they definitely will. I wasn't expecting much from FCA dealers so I just play alone with their BS. There is a reason why car sales don't have a good reputation....

call, no call - doesn’t matter. Just simply setting an expectation and not following thru, that’s my point. Poor business, IMO... but, maybe it’s me- maybe my expectation of doing what you say you’re going to do is too high. Lol

Glad to hear other people out there who have an expectation of some degree of customer service. I found the same thing when I spent the better part of 3 days calling dealers back in November to find one who wasn’t charging an ADM. With that said, my dealer said I was still in the “reverted BX” status yesterday morning but Jeep Chat this AM says that all parts are gathered for my order and my vehicle is awaiting scheduling - which sorta sounds like D status (fingers crossed).

I bet you guys missed me...
I have finally been able to settle down and get back online.
I have a Samsung tablet I am using to remote into my home system in Texas, using some wonky hotel wifi here in Saudi Arabia... so please cut me some slack.

This update will also reflect those VINs* recently added to the list while I was away, so take this in consideration as these are mostly the ones with both sets of docs.

I wonder if Jeep knows this. With so many uncertainties (chip shortage, covid's ripple effects on businesses, enviromental plans at the federal level, etc.), we'll probably know this by next year.

Seems lots of new VINs are assigned quickly lately, hope it means production capacity increases. Keep finger crossed.

Are you thinking getting your deposit back or just waiting?

no deposit needed, I put deposit on gladiator launch and got it back after it took 6 months to build and they wouldnt budge on price we agreed for me to receive 1st in at dealership. different dealer this time
