Bummer! I didn't know that it used the door hinge. I have the tube doors but I hate the fisheye mirrors from CMM Offroad, I was hoping this was the solution.

I will get some pics of it and the instructions later and post it for you.

…and there it is!! Thank you Membrain. I’ve been checking this site every day for updates for 6 months now. Ordered 12/28, Scheduled 5/24, Build Sheet today 6/22, estimated delivery 7/25 according to the Jeep website tracking. I‘d swear the last month is the hardest of the wait!

That's interesting, not at all like I thought from the vague photo. Do you think that bracket can be removed and the mirrors mounted to the tube doors?

Looks like the bavking/mounting plate can be removed from the mirror via the 3 bolts. I'm not sure if they will fit on your tube doors.
