2021 Jeep Rubicon 392 first Vin and order, build and delivery tracking list

I can’t make sense out of this…What is going on?…Are XR package 392s being built and delivered? ….Is there a mystery problem no one is talking about? ….chip shortage doesn’t seem to make sense since Wranglers are still evidentially being pumped out.

I already canceled one 392 order due to lack of information, XR package and schedule conflicts with out of state order…no information on second order for 15 weeks now…sales manager not talking…

Jeep did the same thing for Easter jeep safari And stalled with the first wave of 392s

It was a question to membrain, he said orders would start in December. I know typically manufactures open ordering 2 months before sorp.

there is no plan to shut down that we are aware of, the last day of building 2021's is scheduled for dec 4th with job 1 of 2022's scheduled for dec 5th. they will not be building any 2021 jeep wranglers after that date.

Checked with my dealer. Was in D last week and as of today in D1 with a 10/18 ship date. 808200 392 XR. I did escalate last week with Jeep chat. Ordered 7/10.

I know, 3 of my posts in the past few hours have said 2022s will start in December. I’m very aware of how vehicle production schedules work. I’m not being a dick. Must be confusion somewhere.

Membrain said '21 MY will close December 4th. Not that the plant would close, just the final 21's being built. Then presumably on 12/5 Toledo begins building '22 MY Wranglers, assuming no minor downtime to retool (which I think wouldn't be necessary as the only material change that seems to be possible is Uconnect 5).

I said MY2021 would end 4 December.
This was earlier public information.

It appears Rebel_JT has some newer / more current info.

My order at Chapman was placed on 9/13 so late in the game. I did see on a 392 FB group yesterday something about they had everything they needed to make all the 392XR orders placed through August. Who knows.

update: heard back from Chapman and they are waiting info back from their rep as to what is going on. Apparently only effects a handful of orders with the XR. Said I should hear something back shortly as to if it needs to transition to a 22, will possibly go back to D1, or is completely dead.

392XR ordered 6/30 (789434). Just called dealer and it’s in trim (G). As @REBEL JT said, XRs are on the production line!
