I just never understood people ordering two 392’s with no intentions of buying both. To each his own I guess. I just couldn’t do that. I also see it on the TRX forum.
I have 2 ordered but that is because the first dealer took my 2500 deposit but still hasn't provided a poc vin or VON 3+ weeks later and isn't answering my emails. I am also pretty sure they never placed the order and all I can think is that that take the deposit hoping people will cancel and they can keep it without doing a darn thing.

I had intentions on only ordering 1, and it doesn’t have the package I asked for. I haven’t ordered the second one, been waiting on a 22 announcement.
to be honest I think my dealer did it so he could have one to sell. I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but I haven’t had a warm and fuzzy about it!

So if first dealer did place order and provides you with POC, are you going to buy it also?

hmmmm. actually if I could I probably would but I have asked for a vin VON or poc for 3 weeks and when they finally responded first they said "soon" then "it will be fine" and last week "you have a vin and it will be built in 8 weeks" but when I asked for the vin crickets.

This is awesome. Congrats
what do you think the FAM entries mean at the bottom of the 2nd page. I don't think I have seen those before.

Hey 392 family! So I checked after all of you said that allocations are getting sparse.
so I can still order a 21 392 with my new dealer,
I still have the non XR 392 from the other dealer (that hasn’t notified me of anything yet I think they are afraid to contact me since it’s wrong!) in my back pocket.
im starting to feel that a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush and although I want to wait for the 22s, I would hate to know I missed out on a 392. Uconnect 5 is all I’m waiting on and it’s not worth missing out on this 392. So I’m ordering a sarge green 392 with the XR.

I’ve got a really dumb question. Why can’t I order the half doors with the dual top? Am I just stupid? I may just order the skytouch with the half doors.
Thanks for all advice!
I would get the dual top since the softtop alone is more than 1.3k and get the doors later if possible.

Why the dual top over the skytouch?
you had mentioned both dual top and dual door.
For me it would sky one touch, I have a 3-Piece and only the two freedom panels have been removed since I have no place for the cap. Sky one touch is the best of both since I can close it on the fly.

Doors still aren't available over the counter (color matched). Bestop (OEM manufacturer for Jeep) has the soft top available separately for $2,100 and (I think) you can even order in their custom colors for the JLs.
