Without manufacturer incentives:
On the generic Rubicons, dealers make ~3% profit of the MSRP plus the difference of their invoice to MSRP...
~2% of their invoice is holdback...
The manufacturer markup on the generic Rubicon invoice is ~10% to make the MSRP...

Exactly, that’s why there is not much profit to manufacturer on the 392 for 5000-6000 units. While it might seem like a lot to most it is not like a 100,000 units to manufacturer!

I know there are 4k+ 392 vins being tracked. is there any way to tell how many have been delivered? I was scrolling through the crypto page and it seems like there are dozens and dozens without a build sheet or a window sticker so if production is ending in 3 months I wonder how many per day would have to be built just to make everything with a vin assigned

Here are some stats from my tracking:
Not counting at least 103 known pre-production models -
So far, at least 4075 known completed units rolled off the assembly line and therefore assumed delivered
at least 62 known units with buildsheets waiting on window stickers
and at least another 112 known units waiting on buildsheets

dang, you are the man! that means they are building on average 500 a month give or take. if so presumably so long as there are not more than 1200 in the queue they could get them all done by the end of november.

That is correct, at last word from inside the factory, they were at 100 392's a day, 6 days a week. any ordered and givin vins, should be built before stop date of dec 4th, barring any unforeseen delays

When you say "stop date of dec 4th," is that model year stop date or no more 392s period?

Model year stop date. No one knows if the 392 will be around in 2022. I think there will be but I’m a nobody. On the flip side cafe standards are getting more strict so they might trim the fat.

no answer from both my sources... someone says hes got window sticker on this thread: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/post-your-progress-on-xr-package-here.76823/page-57, and my guess was they would start this week
