Congratulations everyone who has taken delivery. I’m extremely happy for you. Continue to post photos.

No update for me after Jeep damaged my 392 over two weeks ago. Dealer and JC have no clue what’s going on with my unit. I was so close….
I would be pissed...

Reminder from that photo - those wheels were not installed on the Jeep, they were just positioned next to the OEMs in order to see if I liked the look. I intend to get a shot of those wheels fully installed on 8/22 (Sunday).

Here are the specs -
Tires: GoodYear MTR/K 37x12.5x17 (my go-to tires!)

Wheels: XD / XD229 Machete beadlocks
Size: 17x9
Material: Aluminum
Bolt pattern: 5x5 / 5x127
Offset: -38mm
Backspacing: 3.5in
Hub bore: 78.3mm

Wheel Mods:
JL Rubicon TPMS
Standard valve stems
Power Tank Monster Valves in second location
Black center caps
Red (color matched) powder coated center flanges

- debating on doing the rings red or bronze... but not there yet

I have another set of those 37in MTR/Ks pending a new set of wheels or installation on the OEM beadlocks

In contrast -
My JTR with 3.5in RockKrawler on Method 307s and those same MTR/Ks

The tires on the XDs will stick out further than the Methods - (mebbe I'll also add pics of this tomorrow)

Wheels: Method / 307 Hole
Size: 17x8.5
Material: Aluminum
Bolt pattern: 5x5 / 5x127
Offset: 0mm
Backspacing: 4.75in
Hub bore: 94mm

Wheel Mods:
JL/JT Rubicon TPMS
Standard valve stems

Any Idea how much that set up weighs? My new wheels with 35's are 112 lbs per corner.

Finally some light, dealer texted me today, day 100, and I'm in paint. Expected ship 26 Aug. I may get this thing after all.

hmmm... VIN server acting funny tonight...

(Keep in mind my search focuses on keywords to determine if there is a BuildSheet or WindowSticker)
Checked a group of 10000 VINs and not one came up hot... (this is odd in itself) ... but didn't notice or look at anything in depth...
Started second search on a high-probability group which gave 2...
...and also showed a new error message not seen before... (which most likely skewed the first search effort)

"Unable to fetch required information. Please contact System Administrator"

So assume tonight will be of limited product.

Ok, next day update -
This message still periodically appears against certain VINs when searching for 392 BuildSheets - no other established pattern.

I can bounce the same last six on a check against the other 32 Wrangler variants and the message does not appear.

Confirmed, the message only sometimes appears when checking for a 392 Wrangler variant...

...so... is this a new indicator for a Wrangler 392 VIN that may have been axed, scrubbed, damaged(?) or assigned to a more secretive buyer?

...more to follow...

hmmm...
...LOL...
...LMAO(?)

Example: last 6 of VIN: 724656
Converts to full VIN: 1C4JJXSJ5MW724656
Resuilts for BuildSheet(BS) check: "Unable to fetch required information. Please contact System
Administrator"
Results for WindowSticker (WS): "Sorry, a Window Sticker is unavailable for this VIN"

Results for Google VIN check: " MSRP $107,940 "
http://www.chapmanautogroup.com/veh...wrangler-unlimited-rubicon-392-pa-id-42753841

Conclusion: Yup - Affirmative!
It is most definitely a hidden BS and WS so that any prospective buyer CANNOT see the ORIGINAL MSRP!

...and I'm now finding a ***CRAPLOAD*** of these...

Mine is doing this. I switched to a VPN to mask my ip and it shows "No records found corresponding to the VIN provided". Turn off VPN and it gives the "Unable to Fetch" message

^^^ Such dealers in violation of the law?

"Dealers are required to display the sticker on all new cars and provide the sticker to the customer at delivery," said Steve Bernas, director of operations for the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan Chicago.

As a service to their customers, many dealers remove the Monroney label, which lists standard and optional equipment, prices, fuel-economy rating, freight charge and where the car was built, and give it to the customer at delivery.

In doing so, they are violating the law because, according to the Federal Trade Commission, which is empowered to enforce Monroney label violations, federal law requires that the window sticker "may be removed only by the purchaser."

https://www.justice.gov/civil/consumer-protection-branch-32

The Automobile Information Disclosure Act (AIDA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1231-1233, is more commonly known as the Monroney Act (Senator Mike Monroney was the chief sponsor of the Act) or Price Sticker Act. The Act requires the affixing of a retail price sticker to the windshield or side window of new automobiles indicating the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), that is, the "sticker price." Additional information, such as a list of any optional equipment offered or transportation charges, is also required.

The Federal Trade Commission publishes a fact sheet entitled Buying a New Car, that has additional information.
