Someone on here mentioned that they had their vin changed after an order. I have an early XR 789412, I'll have to check with the dealer and see if my vin has changed.
Im 825XXX so lets see, JC said all parts are received and should be in the build process soon

Its interesting how they skipped past all the 80XXXX VINs, says the guy with VIN 805488. The updates have had a lot of 81XXXX and now 82XXXX VINs.
Not necessarily skipped... most likely I haven't checked in that series yet/lately. :)

Keep in mind there is a potential 1 milllion VINs in the VIN pool and I cannot check all of them everyday.
I am trying to triage those groups which logically would not provide a 392 VIN (pre-500nnn) as well as those already checked multiple times with no results, as well as those not yet tagged... it is time consuming...

... and I just picked up mine today (yah, the wheels are just "posed" in place by leaning against the OEM wheels which is why they look funny)

I can't imagine the amount of time you have put into this. It's greatly appreciated. Congrats on finally getting yours! The wheels look great!

Looks great! Can you post your wheel and tire info? *After* you spend time with your family! đź‘Ť
Reminder from that photo - those wheels were not installed on the Jeep, they were just positioned next to the OEMs in order to see if I liked the look. I intend to get a shot of those wheels fully installed on 8/22 (Sunday).

Here are the specs -
Tires: GoodYear MTR/K 37x12.5x17 (my go-to tires!)

Wheels: XD / XD229 Machete beadlocks
Size: 17x9
Material: Aluminum
Bolt pattern: 5x5 / 5x127
Offset: -38mm
Backspacing: 3.5in
Hub bore: 78.3mm

Wheel Mods:
JL Rubicon TPMS
Standard valve stems
Power Tank Monster Valves in second location
Black center caps
Red (color matched) powder coated center flanges

- debating on doing the rings red or bronze... but not there yet

I have another set of those 37in MTR/Ks pending a new set of wheels or installation on the OEM beadlocks

In contrast -
My JTR with 3.5in RockKrawler on Method 307s and those same MTR/Ks

The tires on the XDs will stick out further than the Methods - (mebbe I'll also add pics of this tomorrow)

Wheels: Method / 307 Hole
Size: 17x8.5
Material: Aluminum
Bolt pattern: 5x5 / 5x127
Offset: 0mm
Backspacing: 4.75in
Hub bore: 94mm

Wheel Mods:
JL/JT Rubicon TPMS
Standard valve stems

thanks membrain. Love those wheels. The center flanges are already color matched? They look a little darker in the pic and I was about to suggest color matching them as an alternative to doing the trim ring. They’re probably just in shadow from the deep wheel. Looks great!

783751 is in transit, hope to have it in the next couple weeks! Guess I finally need to clean the space out in the garage.

Come on 392, no hiccups, no wammies!

Congratulations everyone who has taken delivery. I’m extremely happy for you. Continue to post photos.

No update for me after Jeep damaged my 392 over two weeks ago. Dealer and JC have no clue what’s going on with my unit. I was so close….

alksion,

I remember when you were waiting to see if they were going to release the 22 order banks . That sucks that yours got damaged. any idea what happened? Hopefully they build you a new one and expedite it if its not fixable.

I think it’s repaired but there’s no confirmation. It’s very disappointing.
