Yes the 392 extreme recon (rubicon) has been confirmed for a fairly long time now.

Already have seen that but unless I’m missing something, I see no confirmation or anything in that article saying that there will indeed be a 2022. And surely nothing in those music videos in second link!

Well…A July 2021 announcement means 2022 production will occur. For instance, an order now might put you at a 2022 model. For what it’s worth, I believe the entire industry has this view / understanding, it’s more than speculation. 392 Jeep’s (392 XR) will be produced for the 2022 model year.

Don't know if this will offer any convincing evidence, but this just happened this past week. Fast-forward to min 9:40. Jeep is showing this during a 2022 Compass unveiling.
