Isn't this all still speculation? Did I miss somewhere that its been confirmed the 2021 diesel rubicon has 4.10? My build sheet has 3.73 listed.

Did 3.73 come in a D44 in any other configuration? I find it hard to believe they went through the work to put 3.73 in all 2020 diesel trim levels then scrap it.

So it the gear change for rubicon only or all models. I have a sport on order so should know soon enough
I think we are all waiting for the first diesel to be delivered to find out for sure! I was looking over the latest order guide and it seems like all Rubis get 4.10s while the High Altitude gets 3.73 and Sahara gets 3.45 according to the 2021 build tool on Jeep.com and the order guide. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/attachments/4-door-8-6-20-pdf.357053/ I could be interpreting it wrong though. I can't find anything on the order guide about changing for 3.73 on the diesel rubi. Typically you'll see a 3 letter code for an option and then it will say n/a for the 3 letter diesel code or something like that.

I would imagine if the diesel is getting 3.45 in the sport that they would advertise higher mpg for this year. That may be done to have more vehicle meeting CAFE standards in order to bring the v8 to production.

I read the 2021 gladiator rubicon gets 3.73s I can't imagine the wrangler would get 4.10s and not the gladiator

Has anyone seen a Diesel gear ratio chart? I’ve tried looking many times but can’t ever seem to find a Diesel specific chart which accounts for its unique and much lower power band / rpm limit.

Not sure what you want: ZF 8HP75 transmission gears are:

Horsepower and torque curves are:

Has anyone checked the gear ratio stamped on the differential of a 2021 Wrangler Rubicon Diesel? 3.73 or 4.10

Have any been delivered yet?
Don't know. Seems to be a lot of confusion and different info about the gear ratio. Sport S, Sahara and Islander diesels are 3.45. The High Altitude is 3.73. Rubis on configurator say 4.10

Diesels rubicons are 3.73. I would assume all diesels would be the same but that’s purely an assumption. Scott Blum who works for FCA on the wranglers told me this.

They were 3.73 on the 2020 build sheet. The 2021 build sheet changed that to 4.10.
I would imagine that was something overlooked in the build sheet. We talked about it on fb messenger on 9/16. However, theres no telling!

Someone in another thread already counted turns on his 21 JLURD and confirmed less than 4. All of our build sheets state 3.73.
