Props! If that is how you broke in your new motor, sir you are a BMF'er
Watch the video closely, 62 miles on it in that video. Arrived at the Dyno shop with 25 miles on the clock and drove it like I stole it the whole way there!!

You are a braver man than me. Dynoed with 25 miles. I know they say the diesel doesn’t need a break-in, but jeez. :)

Not only did I Dyno it - I rented the Dyno for 3 hours and savagely beat on it like a cave man loading the motor to 100% and letting it pull all the way through the RPM range and then letting the oil side of the rings seat with vacuum by engine braking it all the way back down in RPM.

Honestly the motor seems to have absolutely LOVED IT, only driven it a little since but got 27mpg average on a good little highway trip.

Sorry - don't believe these numbers at all - something wasn't setup right for correction factors on the dyno
Yeah, that works out to about 377 hp at the crank on a motor rated at something like 260. I'm not buying it.

It works out well closer to 500hp at the crank by my math and the dyno video shows 60hp (lol) and of course no actual dyno sheet.

I called and asked them to email it to me, they said they would but I still don’t have them.

I’ll call again tomorrow...

Fwiw I don’t think you’re trying to be dishonest at all. It just looks all wrong (on their end).

I believe the dude may have been wrong when he said it would read the same in non recording mode as in recording or “Dyno pull” mode.

When we did power pulls at the end and recorded them I think the numbers were lower. It seemed to pickup slower too like there was more resistance on the Dyno rollers. Although this is not the case according to dude who works there and runs the Dyno daily.

I’ll post up the power pulls when I get them

Just curious how you get 500 hp. 3174 rpm at 499 lb/ft tq with 20% parasitic loss is what I'm going off of.

Was just a swag but 500wtq = 600ctq * 4500rpm / 5252 = 514chp
