2020 Wrangler JL Corrosion Problems

2020 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
I'm located in the Treasure Coast area (FL) and have tried three different dealerships about the corrosion on the door hinges, panels and hood. The first, where I purchased the vehicle, just said that their body shop is backed up 3 - 4 months and ignored the issue; the second, just a couple of days ago, also put it off as a reschedule for later date. The third just never returns the messages or online requests. I have heard that Jeep Cares may be able to help but am hoping for recommendations from others that are experiencing the same issue. Thanks!

Just set the appointment up with the dealer you purchased it from and wait. There's always a long wait at the body shop.

I had the same problem in Northern Virginia, where my local servicing dealership didn't want to handle my paint warranty claim and repair because I did not purchase through them. After many conversations and several weeks they finally relented.

They said that dealer policy is that they won't service paint warranty issues for vehicles not purchased at the dealer.

I don't know how you reconcile that with a FCA national warranty. I don't know how an active Jeep dealership opts out of providing warranty services...

This dealership eventually relented given that they have serviced the vehicle since new, I bought it more than 1000 miles away, and I'm annoying.

Thanks, James. You do have to be annoying with these places! After a few conversations since my post, I'm actually going to take it back to the dealership where I purchased it and have them take digital pictures for a claim. They are not the closest one to me but the only one around with a body shop. Hopefully, it will be covered under the corrosion warranty. Fingers crossed!
