What are you hearing on how much they're going to charge extra for the diesel?
Well in the new RAM 1500 trucks the 3.0 EcoDiesel is $4,995 more than the base Pentastar V-6. So figure $5K, which is kind of what the SWAG for planning has been for a while (going back to last time the EcoDiesel was offered in FCA trucks).

I haven't heard anything but its going to be 10K. It's always 10K.
it won't be ten thousand more they charge about 6 or 7 on a powerstroke on an f 250 or 350 .there's no way they'll charge 10 on a Jeep for the diesel that's way too much extra. ImI thinking about three or four

Now throw in some Econ 101 - demand. Upcharge is 10K. If not from FCA, then from dealer.

Same as the ram, $4995 is my bet. I’m confident it will be at the oc and la auto shows. Also hoping it’s at off road expo next weekend since it’s LA County and technically after the official release in Texas.

I do have one pressing question.
Why does Texas get jeep events at their state fair, and Kentucky doesn't even get a Ram booth anymore??! We've never had any kind of test drives at ours either.
What's the deal with the favoritism F.C.A?

So today is the day, right? Have we we seen anything?
Yea where are the details. Autoblog has the info up on the 2020 Super Duty, so why is FCA dragging their feet.

All they did was announce that it's real and showed a red Rubi CRD. It will be a gen3 Ecoschnitzel, but will be detuned to 442 ft\lbs of torque (same as gen2), where the Ram gets 480. (chip tune anyone?)
