Almost 40, and owned trucks my whole life. A trip or two out to Colorado hunting and I’m hooked on trail riding/overlanding, even though my humvee went off a cliff/trail in Afghanistan back in 2004 (shelf roads give me fits). Long story short, I sold my 2019 Duramax 3500, flew to Tampa on a one way flight, and drove back a 2020 JLURD with 20k miles on the dash. I look forward to what this thing will become, something my family can make memories with.

You picked up a nice piece - Congrats!!
Love the wheel/tire setup. The factory modular front bumper is a nice feature as well - A very cool Rubicon Diesel indeed!

Also would like to thank you for your Service!!

Wishing you many fond Family Memories with your freshly acquired Wrangler!

Nice looking rig!
I debated on the Sting Gray color before ordering my 2021 JLURD in Hydro Blue Pearl. Really love the diesel!
Enjoy the ride, go out and play.

Thanks Swisskidd. The wheel/tire set up wont be around for long though 😉. My wife and 7 year old have been begging for a Jeep, memories inbound!

So are those wheels steel or aluminum that look like old scheel steelies? Either way, I'm diggin the look.

They are 1552 Analog 17x8.5 and they’re aluminum on 35 inch BFG KM3s. Swapping them out with some KMC Impact OLs and 37 inch Mickey Baja Boss ATs once warmer weather gets here and I can find time to put on a 2.5 MC GC lift I ordered.

Thanks!

I’ve wasted no time since picking it up at the beginning of the month. Seems like every weekend I’ve been tinkering with something.

Obviously I meant old school. Not sure if I should blame that on the lack of spell check or lack of sleep 😂 😂

Haha no worries friend. *Not old school, but look-a-likes.

They were on the Jeep from the previous owner. They’ll be up for sale by summer 🤘

Thanks, it’s actually the Billet Silver. My wife had a Grand Cherokee in this color and I loved it.

That hydro blue looks good. I dont think I could ever pull the trigger to get anything other than silver or black 🤷‍♂️.

Getting a diesel was a requirement for me. I knew I’d go straight to 37s, be adding weight and need the low end torque.

DIY plate system and 40% delete for the pup. Maple 1/2 inch primed plywood. 1/4 inch carpet padding and black outdoor carpet. Original hardware was used to secure it to the floor. Cubby to reach under storage (twin ARB compressor later this spring). Amazon rear passenger side storage container retrofitted with same plywood/carpet lid for rocker switch/ARB Fridge Outlet. One of the switches is wired to a rear glass light (remote velcro’d in place), with the other Four switches open for future projects. Ohh, and one of those trailgater things 🤘
