Nothing other than Mines a rubicon with 10,000 miles and the others are sports and Saharas with 0-50,000miles. I do have 315-70/17 cooper tires now but this was going on with the stock BFG's that came on it. If this corona crap ever ends i'll be renting one to head to the Tetons Maybe in may/June and i'm going to video it so i have proof to show my dealer ship!!!
We live in Salt Lake and made a trip up to the Tetons and stayed in Coulter bay Campground for a few days in September 2018. Fall colors were coming in and it was beautiful up there. Also during our stay, a bear ran through the camp for excitement. If you can’t make in May or June, shoot for September just after Labor Day. Great time of year.

Ya i hear you. We make 3 to 4 trip up there each year for the last 14 years for 2-3 weeks each. Usually last week of May- first week in June For all the babies. Then Last week of Sept- first week of Oct for the Elk Rut. Then 3 weeks over Xmas- New Years for the winter wonder land. Then we try to find time for one extra trip some were a long the way but that one doesn't all ways happen. We are photographers. We are trying to move up there one day hopefully. We have been going so long we have a bunch of friends there now. Hard place to stay a way from!!!!!!

I think you milage will get alot better. I have a 2018 jl unlimited with stock wheels and tires. I am averaging 21 to 22 mpg. I just to a trip to the outer banks last month from md and averaged 27 mpg, driving above speed limits.

That sounds fantastic! What engine do you have? Do you have Rubicon as well or a different trim?

I've noticed that if you have the adaptive cruise control and use it on the highway set to 65-70 you should get even better mpg than if you were driving without it. I get about 20MPG on the highway specifically using that. But my best mpg on an entire fuel tank has been 19MPG so far.

I have a 2019 Rubicon with the standard 3.6 V6.

Picture of the 11mpg is from my 2019 JLUR, 6 speed, with the Livernois 93 FFV tune, running on E85. This is all around town driving, nothing but stop signs and stop lights, and no speeds over 40mph... ...and a heavy foot. Stock suspension/tires.

On 93, I can finish a tank with anywhere from 18.5mpg to 20mpg average - depends how much highway I'm able to get in.

I never get 20 or above, at any speed. Drove 200 miles solely on the freeway for a short road trip last week and averaged 19.2mpg.

avg highway: 18-19
avg street: 14-16

2020 JLUR. Still stock everything. I have just over 10k on the 3.6L and am going in for my first oil change this week. I have noticed an appreciable change in MPG since new, particularly on highways between 65-70. Numbers in are in the 18-19 range, but when I bought it, I was getting in the low 20's. Anyone else see the same? When I take it in to the dealer, is there anything I should ask them to look at? I recently went from hard top to soft. Putting the hard top back on today most likley.

I averaged 19-20 with 35's before the dealer flashed my PCM. Now I see 17 average and rarely see 8th gear. I will say this, cold is a MPG killer, and I will see 11-12mpg before the running gear heats up, which can take 15-20 miles when freezing. It's a Jeep, not a Prius.

Got it. Not a Prius. Wasn't angling for that. More concerned about the perceived drop in MPG than the number itself.

When the dealer flashed my PCM it killed my MPG. That and cold weather, have destroyed my MPG, was the point of that post.

Cold weather, change in gas type, hills... all will hurt your fuel economy.
Soft top, and especially having the top down will hurt as well.

We all know we're not going to get 25+mpg. But it is nice to get some range between fuel ups.
If I do a full tank with just commuting, 65mph, light traffic with little stops... then I can get 21mpg or so and 400+ range with my '20 JLUR (essentially stock with a soft top)

You all are doing well. In town kills the MPG's, 18 my ass. Also, heating up the engine the fuel mixture is RICH. Those 2 things on the morning commute give me about 12 in town.

This past weekend, the family and I went to a flea market about an hour away. On the flats, I got 19 (reported) and hills went down to 15 (still reported). This was cruising about 68 the whole time. Stock Jeep, except bumper/winch.

I know this is not a Prius, but something more accurate would be nice. I think that's what pisses more people off is the advertised 18/22. I would be ecstatic with 18 and over the moon for 22, but know it will never happen.
