I have 3 questions for those that either installed the Rubicon wheels and tires or kept the Sahara wheels & installed larger 33 in tires.

1. Did your gas mileage go down at freeway speeds? If so, how much?
2. How did this effect the ride at freeway speeds? Is it more bouncy?
3. How did this effect your speedometer? I was reading is would drop about 5% or around 3 mph at 65 mph.

I did the same upgrade and can say:
1) I average 18 now down from 20.5-21
2) I wouldn’t say bouncy. Floaty maybe?
3) @ 65 I’m rolling at 67.44

I haven't done this so I can't answer your questions about gas, but the speed variance would be -2% too slow (bigger), meaning if your speedometer reads 100km/hr, your actual speed is 102. (so 60/61 mph?)

Mileage went down for sure, 1-2mpg depending on how I drive.

Ride feels the same as my sahara AT tires. KO2s are quiet as well, did not notice any increase in noise. Even used a DB meter before and after.

Speedo was definitely off, got a tazer to correct it.

QUESTION: The 33's are .8" wider than the stock wheels. Do they spray crud all over the car?

Looking at the Tazer menu looks like there should be a way to change the tire size to 33"

I raised the wifes Sahara 2 inches and put 295/70/18 on the stock rims and a rubicon front bumper.

Yes
Even stock tires will sling crud from under the back of the front flair. Unless you have side steps/wide rock rails or mudflaps, you are going to get it.

Interesting, thanks. I never noticed a lot of crud on the side of the car on my '19 Rubicon with stock Mopar perf sliders and stock rubicon wheels/tires

Well that's because you have Mopar Performance Sliders, they stick out. Car it is not.

Looks great!

My original plan was to replace the OE Sahara wheels with black 17” rims and 33” tires, and black out all the badges.

However, once I got the Jeep I got to appreciate the fine attention-to-detail on the machined Sahara wheels and all the badging. So I embraced the bright work instead —still went ahead and got 33” tires.

No regrets. I was surprised by the outcome and am very happy with the results.
Quick question for those that put 33s on the stock Sahara 18s--any issues with the spare tire hitting the brake light?

Thanks!

I put on Rubicon take-off 33" KO2s (which should be the same diameter as what you're asking) and have no problems at all.
