2020 JL serv 4wd issues

Hello everyone, so I have the serv 4wd light on, I can shift the 4wd gear but it doesn’t engage, I’ve checked the fuse box and everything seems fine, the strange thing is when I pressure wash the underside of the car or if I drive into a puddle of water the light goes off and the 4wd drive works for about 8-24 hours after that the warning light goes on again the 4wd won’t engage

No warranty

So what do you guys think ?

I've had this issue twice. First time it was something with the bushing on the transfer case position sensor. New bushing fixed the issue for a while.

Just this week had the Serv4WD light on again. Took it back to the shop and they tightened up the t-case shift cable from underneath and no problems since.
