That looks awesome! All you need is a big manilla rope wrapped in figure 8s around your front bumper ends to complete the retro look. Thanks to some help from members on this forum, I was able to track down some options for finishing my Black and Tan. I'm quite certain, this was the intention of FCA... at least this was the only thing I could think of when I saw the package. I had the '77 as a matchbox car when I was a kid, and it was may favorite one, so when I ordered this back in July, this was the plan.
I'm very happy with how it turned out. I think it makes the whole black / tan combo work a lot better as well. I don't fully disagree with @rubileon 's comment on this thread... frankly, it's one of those that I can't unsee... but I'm loving this so far

I used this mount: https://www.quadratec.com/p/mopar/light-bracket-pair-jeep-wrangler-jlLooks good - What did you use for mounts for the KC lights?
Great job! I purchased my Black and Tan in January. Just like you my fav was the 77 Golden Eagle. I want even in the market for another Jeep but when I saw that beauty while driving by car lot.... I hadn't seen one in 40 years and I swore back then I'd have one someday. Thanks to some help from members on this forum, I was able to track down some options for finishing my Black and Tan. Love it...will you post a link to the KC fog lights that you're running?I used this mount: https://www.quadratec.com/p/mopar/light-bracket-pair-jeep-wrangler-jl
I chose that specifically due to the "no drill" solution, and I am a total novice at this sort of thing. Only problem, this mount requires you to drill. You have to use a 10mm drill bit (who has that handy???) to widen the holes to use. I ended up breaking off a drill bit in the process. Wasn't pretty, but I got it done and in the end it all worked out. There were several time sucks in that process, so if you are going down that path, let me know, I'd be happy to share what I learned. Over all, it was ok, and kinda pushed me to be ok poking holes in the metal.
CJ5 still my all time favorite JeepGreat looking rig.
Since wheels were mentioned, these were some of the wheels back in the day.
Dirty Life has some similar colored wheels.
Also, the pin stripes on the CJ are way cool.
Oh, and lets not forget those side pipes with that awesome sound.
