2 and 4 doors more or less confirmed!

Make it a convertible with an available M/T and they'd have a sale from me.

They'd have to be stupid not to. Toyota proved with the FJ Cruiser that people wanted a removable roof more than anything else in a sporty offroader lifestyle vehicle. It's the only reason the Cruiser failed so badly. This vehicle will probably fail as well if it's permanent roof only.

I dunno, I'd like a fixed-roof 4x4 SUV with an available manual. Since the FJ's demise, there haven't been any options on the market. A used FJ would be great, except they didn't depreciate, so like hell if I'm going to pay new prices for an outdated vehicle. Dealers always quickly sold every FJ, Toyota just didn't put any effort into it (few updates over its life, no marketing support, special editions, etc). Styling/practicality/interior were also way too quirky; Bronco looks to be more mainstream in that regard.

The roof situation adds a lot of weight, cost, and potential issues to the Wrangler.

When I learned the movie "Rampage" will feature the earlier more boxy Bronco concept vehicle, I thought that was strange. Why would Ford have a product feature that did not resemble the 2020 Bronco. Now seeing today the covered Bronco, if that shape is legit, it would seem to indicate the 2020 Bronco might be closer to the earlier concept vehicle styling than was thought. That would be cool - would like to see a more utilitarian vehicle instead of generic SUV type Bronco.

Well I've never been a ford man but I'm buying if I can't get my soft top or my rubicon out of inspection by then!

With some tweaks that thing could look okay.
I wouldn’t be surprised a bit if it was an updated Troller.... it’s been discussed for awhile as a candidate that Ford already had in its arsenal to use, since it’s so damn close to being the “look” people would recognize as a classic Bronco shape.
