The shape is almost a dead match with updated fenders.

I wouldn’t be surprised a bit if it was an updated Troller.... it’s been discussed for awhile as a candidate that Ford already had in its arsenal to use, since it’s so damn close to being the “look” people would recognize as a classic Bronco shape.
Looked the Troller up, and it looks like it could make a good modern Bronco II all right. I still think a proper full size Bronco should be an F-150 with the removable top though. I'm pretty traditional like that lol.

I think to capitalize on the retro nostalgia Ford should stick to something like this in size and shape. Throw in a bunch of tech and removable top and the market will go apeshit.

That's a good pack of buddies you have there.
Thanks. Rescue dogs are the best... it’s hard for me to not adopt them. Starbucks runs are fun though, everyone taking pictures and wanting to come see them.

I hope it's a real contender and brings real competition to the JLUR.
Only thing is, we won’t see a solid front axle. Ford killed it long ago.

So after a little digging it seems Ford engineers are using the Troller as inspiration for the new Bronco. Which is a good thing... more interior room. I’d be interested in seeing if they offer a diesel option.

Bring it on. I'd like to see Toyota get back into this segment as well. Even if they and Ford bring true competition to the market and take a slice outta Jeep, I don't expect the cost of the JL to change, but I would expect quality to improve.
