This was my Black Friday.

We had a clearing in the weather following a week of rain. Did my part to keep away from crowds and explore this beautiful state.

It was a promotion we ran Spend over a certain amount and you get a free hat... shitty hat?? I would say itā€™s actually a very high quality hat. Not sure how itā€™s shady we donā€™t have to do the price protection we chose to.
I like NR4x4. You are one of the better online vendors. I've bought a lot of LOD from you, as well as my ARB stuff.

But every time I have used the price-match it is frustrating it's been a gift card versus a partial refund like every other vendor.

Iā€˜ve spent a lot of money with Northridge and my post was a bust you balls kind of post, acknowledging your price protection is a good deal, with a little laugh at the end.

You guys have always been on another level of service than the rest and I appreciate it, but maybe a bit more attention to detail next time. I appreciate you understanding where your bread and butter is.

So I ordered some parts from Northridge 4x4 this week. They included this free shitty hat. I didnā€™t ask for the hat, it was just ā€freeā€. I emailed them and they gave me a credit for the sale priced items, which was cool. They call it price protection or something along those lines. They sent me an email and said they deducted $25 from my gift card for the shitty hat that I didnā€™t even want. LOL. I guess I paid for the shitty hat after all............

Watch the fine print at Northridge. Iā€™ve had pretty good luck with them but this time it was a bit shady......no pun intended.

Get real, he didn't ask for the hat.

Could use folks help in deciding between 2 BF deals for bumpers and winch (or other suggestions):

1. 4WParts
- Deal - Buy front and rear Fab Fours bumpers and get free winch + 50% off install:

- Stubby front bumper $549
- Rear bumper (no tire carrier) $1,160 *
- Winch - Smittybuilt XRC Gen3 9.5K steel cable (normally $429) $Free **
- Sway bar cover $200
- Install ($540+$270 x 50%) $405

Total $2,315

*the price of the rear bumper is my main sticking point
**will upgrade to synthetic for $150 - I know what Iā€™m getting here vs the Warn Zeon or Smittybuilt X20, but fits my needs (and is the Gen3)

2. NR4x4
- Deal - 15% off:

- LOD stubby Signature front bumper *** $553
- LOD rear bumper Destroyer (no tire carrier) $687
- Winch - smittybuilt X20 Gen2 10K $420
- Skid plate $109
- Install at 4WP $810

Total $2,579

*** this allows for a recessed winch that I prob prefer the look of more

Bonus question - what do you all do for the rear license plate relocation - the brackets here cost $200 which seems crazy?

Any perspectives welcome!

I say go with the LoD and install it yourself. Itā€™s easy. Then you can add the tire carrier or the Warn. Iā€™m a fan of LoD. They make high quality parts.

Itā€™s all Joe is allowing for us. Check out our package with the front camera. You get a pretty good deal on that combo

I like that LOD look pretty well. That 15% from Northridge, is that just a special on LOD or is there a coupon code I am missing somewhere? I am looking to make same purchase, but am leaning to Rock Hard 4x4 aluminum bumpers.

I saw the Fab Fours on a new Jeep in person and my decision was made. Love the front and rear. Your option 1 seems like a great deal. Either way, there seems to be a lot of love for both Fab Fours and LoD here. Which one do you like better? At the end of the day, you'll likely be stuck with your decision for a while...so go with the one you like the best.

The price I showed was with the 15% off, and it just comes up automatically.

LoD has something similar discount wise too I think direct.

#2 and install it yourself. The bumpers are a easy DIY and can be done with hand tools without an issue.

found the codes - thx

I also saw that 4WParts has the Gen3 Smittybuilt winches vs the Gen2 - was wondering if they just got released and are better, as didnā€™t see them on NR4x4?
Was wondering the same thing. I see IP rating is better.....not sure on rest of it though?
