Nice! How much do you want for that rear bumper :CWL:?

Seriously though, does the rear bumper have the integrated license plate step like they showed off at SEMA 2018?

No step on the bumper. That didn’t make it into production.

Damn that front bumper is the only one that could pull me off ARB. Mind asking if they’re working on a rear for the gladiator?

Growing up in Asia and Middle East, I was always around Land Rover Defenders and old school Land Cruisers. My family had a 70 series Land Cruiser. When it came time to buy my own, I opted for the HellaYella color, which reminded me of the Camel Trophy Yellow Defenders.

I met Dave Harriton, the owner of AEV, at Overland Expo West a year ago, and talked about the JL builds and the JK Outpost 2. And after chatting with him, I knew I wanted to just go with a turn key build and not worry about mixing and matching different suspensions and shocks and other components, and worrying about ride comfort, death wobble etc.

When the JL370 packages were ready to be built, I got a call from them earlier this year and placed my order. The build was scheduled to be done end of March, early April, but got delayed due to COVID shutdowns.

It finally arrived yesterday and I love it. I love the way it handles. With the AEV suspension, the steering feels fantastic, no slack, nice and taut. And it rides much firmer than factory. The 4.56 gearing is good enough, it feels peppy off the lights and highway speeds. I'll do a review of it later down the road, once I get familiar with everything.

Here is the full spec on top of a loaded JLUR.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The camera was moved to the tire carrier and it has AEV's custom CHMSL on it. No more water tanks. But, instead of the tank it has a similar sized capped hole as the tire carrier mount. So, maybe future accessories or a second tire carrier will go in it.
Yeah I noticed that cap on the left side of the bumper which is why I asked. Kind of a bummer, but maybe people just didn't use that feature. Beautiful Jeep!

Can you tell me where did you acquire that hood decal, the thin stripe one? It looks like it would encircle the hood dome on a sahara nicely...or is that strictly for a rubi?

Have been able to drive it twice so far. Planning to go on a trail next weekend. So far in city driving it feels planted and a firm ride. Cornering is very stable with negligible roll. But you feel every bump. I have to check the tire pressure and see if I need to let go of a little air. It feels like a sporty Jeep if there is such a thing.

That hood decal is part of AEV's package. Take that pic with you to a body shop that does vinyl wraps. I'm sure they can create something similar. Just don't copy the AEV logo. ;)

You've got yourself one superb Jeep Wrangler. I'm sure you will be very pleased with its performance. AEV seems to provide an extremely well thought out package.

Anyone know or heard if they (AEV) will be doing the hemi swaps in the JL's like they did in the JK's?
