Yes, everyone has issues. It just depends on what you mean by issues.
I bought a 2019 JLUR in November 2020 and the only issue I had was my aux battery died a few weeks ago.
Unless you count all the money on upgrades that I spent, but I got issues!

Any steering issues?
You would know after the first drive if it has current steering issues. If the current steering box TSB has been performed, and has the new box it, will a black painted one. If it's the original problematic one it'll be a bare aluminum box.

I've had to retorque my suspension occasionally. The center console latch seems to be wonky. FYI - did you know there is a key lock on the center console? I only know, because black bear broke in and tear my leather console cover off!

2019 JL Wrangler Sport S 3.6L Auto 2 door, 2.5" lift, 35s
Ron,

I'm totally loving my Bright White 2019 JL Sport S 3.6L Auto 2 door. I've installed the Mopar Lift and added 35's. I did have the latest Steering TSB (08-003-31) applied and replacing the aluminum box with a steel one was a significant improvement. My steering was a little slushy with just a touch of wander, but now it's pretty crisp and responsive. I'd recommend performing the TSB (attached).

My only complaint is the crappy ESS design with the AUX battery. I've gone through two Intelligent Battery Sensors (IBS) and an AUX Battery in my quest to keep it working. My ESS system would routinely quit working with both "Battery Charging" and "Battery Protection Mode" conditions. The dealership did a lot to help solve it though. But I eventually traced the problem down to a parasitic draw from a satellite receiver.

I found a company that provided a backend iPOD interface that integrated into my UConnect3 via USB without any clunky ancillary head unit. I can control it using either the 5" display or the steering wheel switches. It's really cool. The downside is that the installer wired it directly to the battery instead of switched ignition. So I just have to unplug the USB cable when parking it overnight. I'm kinda contemplating rewiring it, but the workaround is insanely easy.

This thing is my daily driver, I've driven almost 30K otherwise flawless miles so far and really enjoy every minute I'm in this thing. I believe you to will enjoy yours just as much.

Best Regards,
Jay

I have a 2019 and not a single issue besides the inconvenience of repeated 5K oil changes . . .

Our 2019 jlur, bought new with 8 miles on it, now has 48k+ miles on it. It got 2.5" of lift and 37's at ~10k miles. It's been to Moab twice, CO, AZ, NV, and OR wheeling not to mention thousands of miles in CA. The lift got increased to 4" last fall and 38's went on just over a month ago. To date we've had 1 factory issue, that only happened 3 times, all after long periods in 4LO. The charging system started acting up, but went away as soon as we shifted back to 4HI. About 8k miles ago we added a superchips td3 and new unlocked pcm. The tune has been amazing on and off road and seems to have cured the 4LO charging issue (my theory is it was software related to the torque limiting in 4LO that superchips eliminated in their tune). We've upgraded a bunch of things, mostly related to the lift and large tires. Even the notoriously weak ball joints held up for 35k+ miles. I know some people have had bad experiences, and you'll hear from them more than anyone else, but this Jeep and the ~dozen before it have been great for us both as daily drivers and off road rigs. The worst Jeep vehicle I've ever owned was one of the only ones ever offered with an engine from gm. My 86 cherokee came with a Chevy 2.8L v6 from the factory and that thing was a turd in both reliability and performance. Slowest Jeep I've ever driven, terrible fuel economy, and it seemed like it had mechanical issues monthly. There no way of knowing if a particular Jeep is going to run trouble free past 200k miles, but I've had many do exactly that. Enjoy it and hope for the best, worrying about future potential issues does nothing to prevent them and only hinders the present enjoyment.

Yes, you will have issues. You will want to go out, drive in it and see the world, which will cost you time and money.

Enjoy!

Yes you are going to have an issue. It is called, what can I do next in my Jeep. I have had to replace the aux battery in mine and it had a recall for the steering stabilizer (which did solve the death wobble). But it is all just part of the Jeep experience. I love mine and smile every time I get in it. Taking the top off this weekend, makes me smile just thinking about it.

You'll have 99 problems but fun ain't one.

But nah, you very well may not have any. I have a 2019 and no real issues.
