Hi,

I'm looking into purchasing a set of 17" X 8" mopar bedlock wheels with Nitto 35" Ridge Grapplers. The Rubicon is completely stock for now, and i'm curious if I will have any issues with the factory carrier spare holder? Will the 35" tire fit? Will I need to purchase anything else?

Thank you

I am carrying a 37 on the stock tire carrier. It will have more to do with how much off set the wheel has.

I had 315/70/17 tires on stock Rubicon wheels. They fit on the OEM spare carrier but barely. The bottom rubbed the OEM steel bumper ever so slightly, but prevented any vibration. However the fitment issue I had was that the tire slightly interfered with the wiper arm. I had to lift the arm up and away from the glass when closing the rear door for fear of closing it and having the impact on the wiper damage it or shatter the rear glass. I was always afraid of that. I put the Teraflex spare carrier on and now it’s perfect. IMO the $300 was well spent.
