I have a stack of receipts, Not added up yet but i think i'm around $4000-$5000 right now. I think when i'm done ill be around $5000-$6000 range. Are you keeping a running tally on costs? Hopefully you're willing to share when the time comes.
Also. What's your background? Shadetree? Class A? Bored house husband? How many times have you done something like this?
Don't feel obligated to answer, I'm just fascinated in the process and dudes that are like "ya. I'm just gonna rebuild a complete modern vehicle" like it's a 1986 Chevette.
Hobbies never are calculated time.I’m very curious if you’ve tracked the time spent on this. 6k in parts is a steal, but factor in time and that will hopefully give people a real picture of the value !
Which scan tool or program are you using?Last item i’m waiting for is my Instrument Cluster. It was suppose to be here nearly 6 weeks ago. Once I pop that in and finish the dash and put the seats in, most of not all the errors will be gone.
That's not bad. And how much was the salvage/recovery?I have a stack of receipts, Not added up yet but i think i'm around $4000-$5000 right now. I think when i'm done ill be around $5000-$6000 range.
I sell and install performance parts for my daily job. I also do alot with electronics on vehicles. I have never done a flood project before, so this is a first, but I would gladly do it again.
Which scan tool or program are you using?
