Just curious how you organize all the bolts, screws, clips, fasteners, etc. when you pull everything out? Do you label stuff or just put in tubs or do you just know how everything goes back together? Nonetheless, impressive feat if you can pull it off!
I screw a majority of them back in where they came from, however most of the dash is only 2 different size bolts. Otherwise I have bagged and labeled others. And lots and lots of pictures!

I don't know how long this thing was wet before the restoration efforts began but the corrosion on that circuit board says salt water to me.

It can be done, the Navy has restoration procedures for aircraft that get soaked in saltwater due to firefighting efforts.
Unfortunely it sat for nearly 3 months after it happen.

Are you baking any of those circuit boards after cleaning and drying? I would be concerned about any micro fractures in the solder that would cause glitches.

Well after extracting all the water from the engine and soaking all the cylinders with kroil for nearly 2 weeks. I have put fresh oil in and jumped the relay to hear it crank. STARTER IS DEAD!

They don’t leave you much room to remove the starter but it’s out after removing the engine mount and fishing it out the inner fender.

Some of these boards don’t look that great under the microscope. We have been soldering a lot of the boards and have had some successful repairs

I'm looking forward to following your progress OP!

Just a question, why didn't you take the doors off when you gutted the thing? Would have made access much easier.
Gotta be able to lock it and keep it safe in this day and age. Can't have anyone trying to drive off with it.

New Starter in! Plugs are back in, engine cranking sounds good and is promising.

that cranking sounds pretty good. which 2.0 engine is this? (im assuming not an etorque one)
