OP paid half of kbb value, I'm assuming 25k........There's gotta be more than 25k worth of labor put into this to put it back to life right?

But I understand, this might be a fun project / enjoyment out of this. A lot more rewarding and self-fullfillment.

Unless it was half of the KBB Salvage value?

Should remove the decal and put "Jesus" on it. You know, cause resurrection.
Or get pixeldecals to make a hood decal in Rubicon font that reads "Red October".

Will it only be my fellow old people that understand that reference?

Fuses have protected a lot of them, but when the Jeep was pulled out of the lake, previous owner said a lot of the electronics were still working. Wipers were going under water
So you're saying we have rain sensing wipers?

Can I ask what your background is and what drew you to this project? Fascinating to watch and really looking forward to watching it play out! Good luck to you!
I sell performance auto parts for a living. But also have a huge interest in vehicle electronics and Jeep. Thank you!

Nasty project..:( Along with possibly a lifetime of issues, with no factory warranty help....
I understand itā€™s not for majority of people. Majority of the electronics will be new or replaced along with majority of the wiring.

I donā€™t count my labor since Iā€™m keeping the Jeep for myself. If I was turning around to flip it, then I would. Going to spend about $4,000 to $5,000 on parts though
