Found a highly optioned 2 door JLR in stingray on a lot. MSRP nearly reaching 48,000 being sold for 40k and some change. What would be a good offer on a new 2019 Rubicon?

any idea how long the dealer has had it on the lot? think build date is on door or somewhere accessible
should be a great choice either way, that or less...,gl
Close to a year I want to say. Shocked me that it was still for sale honestly. Cloth interior, hard top, steel bumpers, LEDs, cold weather group, proximity group. Does it say it on the window sticker by chance?

I'd say 38.5 can't hurt! If they really want to sell it they might let it go! Just make sure you take it on the highway and get it up to at least 70 to see how it feels!!!

Just Remember it is a Jeep they have different road manners than other vehicles...hence why I say ..take it on the highway and really pay attention to how it drives.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Good luck w/ your deal Galen, should be a sweet ride!
One thing to keep in mind is Rubicons share the same control arms as the Sport & Sahara models, since the Rubicon suspension is about 1.5 to 1.75" taller this results in lower caster from the factory. The lower caster will make the Jeep a bit more prone to wander off center at higher speeds. Luckily this is an easy $70 fix, there are Mopar Control Arms from their 2" lift pkg that will get your Rubicon caster in the 6 degree range.

Many on the site that have switched to the longer LCAs and it's a nice improvement. I swapped to a Rubicon suspension and added the longer arms, and like @kermitjewel I can also run at hwy speeds w/ no steering issues, very tight and responsive, and mine's a 2dr FWIW.
