2019 jlu rear seat removal

I'm thinking of removing one of the rear seats for an upcoming camping trip. Can I remove either the single or double and leave the other, or is it a take both out or not at all situation?

You can remove either one.

Yes, either one just unbolts a few bolts and the seat comes right out.

I've read that the seat belt on the single side can't be used if you remove the double seat, and visa-versa. Is this accurate?
