Quite honestly, just go with satellite radio, and replace your stock antenna with a stubby black one, because your FM reception won't matter at that point anyhow.

Sorry, I can't help you. My stock antenna and newer stubby antenna work fine. I had previously hear some of the stubby antennas had distance reception issues.

MIX TAPE! or at least MIX Thumb drive? I did the taller of the two stubby antennas and did lose a little FM reception. I have 1 year of XM it was cheap but will not renew.. If you have a collection of music on your computer, just load them on a small thumb drive put itinn the 2nd USB port in the bottom of the center console. I have 275 Songs on mine. Always something to listen too. I have the 7 inch display, but works with 5 inch display as well.

I don't have any FM stations worth listening to so I purchased the year of XM for $99. I'm going to relocate the antenna in the wheel well, but at the moment it's just disconnected. I put a badge there and I'm happy.

I tried a thumb drive... it wouldn't recognize it.... what's your trick?
