Realise that this forum is not a good indication of breakdowns of actual sales figures in the real world.
Yup, the data here shows that 90% of owners ordered custom, actually go off road, and remove the top / doors :D

Autotrader is currently showing 985 new 2019 Wranglers within 500 miles of Tampa Bay. Of those, 475 are 4 cylinder, and 501 are 6 cylinder. I have no idea what the other 9 are as there isn't another engine option to choose.

I bet 90% of the owners also do hardcore rock crawling and all have a mini mechanic shop in their garage.

I've seen it mentioned here that the3.6L is manufactured in the US. According to the window sticker it is made in Mexico.

What is this on the 2020? Automatic trans should be $2750. Did I miss something?

It is $2,750 with the V6
Only $1,500 with the Turbo.

This is also why I don't put too much weight behind what does/doesn't have eTorque. CAFE is what caused Jeep to include eTorque in the first place, not Jeep's desire to build the 'ultimate' Wrangler. The fact that 2019 has eTorque and some 2020s don't was a decision based off of CAFE requirements & fines vs. cost of implementing eTorque & expected sales volume. The excess inventory (if this can be considered excessive) could have been a result of Jeep needing to raise their average fuel economy, and building more eTorque Wranglers in one year vs. another. Maybe they found that paying the CAFE fine was the cheaper way to go in 2020, or maybe they squeezed out an additional MPG in some other model and the Wrangler's eTorque system costs them more vs. what they can sell it for in another model.

I drove both the etorque and non etorque 2.0. The torque drove way better, the BSG masks turbo lag off the line very well.

Also the etorqe does great brake-torque burnouts. Regular 2.0 not so much.

IMO they're just not being sold/marketed properly by the dealerships.

If you've driven both the 3.6 and the 2.0t, especially at altitude, I cannot see any reason to choose the v6. It's cheaper and less complex, but we've had 0 problems with our 2019 Rubicon. At 10,000 feet on windy mountain roads you forget you're in a 4 door off road vehicle. Acceleration isn't an issue on even the steepest grades. The v6 guys cannot relate.

It’s definitely a plus keeping most of your power at altitude. If it’s like aviation, there’s still a little power loss due to efficiency loss but nothing like compared to NA. If you started with 285 NA, it should be just over 200 at 10k ft/DA.

It would seem there might be more lag at altitude with a turbo on a street car because there the ambient air will need more spool time to reach whatever psi the engine is regulated to at the moment.

We do most of our off roading in the high sierras, even the 01 grand Cherokee with the v8 felt like a dog over 7,000 feet. I've driven everything from a 77 wagoneer with a 360 AMC v8, 89 Cherokee with the 4.0, 09 jk with the v6, 17 jk with the pentastar, to my hemi rebel (it still has ample power at altitude but you can really feel the loss) over these same mountain roads and the 2.0t is the only jeep I can honestly say feels sporty at altitude (and both jk's were 2 door).
