do the 2019 cloth seats get the cargo gap cover like the leather seats or is it still a leather only option?

My 2019 with cloth did NOT get the gap cover. I bought the MOPAR cargo liner that includes the gap cover and installed it myself. It doesn’t cost much more to get the cargo liner + gap cover than just the gap cover alone.

when I was looking at the 2018 videos and pictures it looked like there was an overlap with the cover instead of being flush like the leather came is that still happening for the 2019?

like this overlap for the cloth seats when adding in the gap cover as cloth seats looked for flush(perfect)

This is mine installed. Are you sure there’s no overlap on the leather version? In that picture you can’t see the bottom plugs on the top row. I think it’s the same mat but I could be wrong.

There is overlap on both versions. I have the leather ones and the bottoms snap into the top back rests.

I don't think the canvasback comes with a rigid piece to cover the gap between the rear seats and cargo area.
I think you're correct; good point. : - ) Put weight on the gap that's not wider than that gap, say a dog's paw, and it's ability to not drop in it appears to be a product only of the velcro that keeps the cover in place on the carpet below.
