It is resting on foam pads - the clips on the front of the cart prevent it from sliding off.
It sits at a different angle to the JK top but not by much.

That’s one spot with padding the cross bar at the front (the glass is resting on it) is padded also.

Finally laid my hands on a set of the “Too Cool” KC covers (NOS) so we switch up the looks when we want to…….

Also somewhat delayed progress on my build by getting a daily driver (Covid restrictions are starting to lift here and a work from home 100% isn’t looking so viable anymore - I’d worry about the JL in some of the places I’d need to go)…..

A 2014 WK2 has joined the fleet…

After a 13 week wait the mounting kit arrived today.

Had enough time to do the pre-assembly and will see when I can make time to pull the fender to install it.

Finished the ARB install tonight.
“Dear ARB, we pay a lot for the compressor, why do you cheap out and not supply ring terminals??”

The Grimm off-road bracket seems well made and we’ll see if it’s a suitable placement over time.

Thunderstorms on and off in our forecast for the weekend but the last 10 days have been glorious.

First time the JL has had her doors off and windshield down…

Bought a set of mirrors off Amazon for $40, not too bad but will replace the rubber washers with some much sturdier ones before they go on again.
