Well, I decided I‘d rather be able to drop the windshield than have extra lights. I also noticed the way the wires ran it pushed the cowl panel out very slightly.The KC C3’s that have been sitting in a box since new might have found a home.
I tried them on the Trailhawk but they just didn’t sit right somehow. This presents two challenges on Mica;
1. I’m out of factory auxiliary switches so would either have to connect them to the same switch as the Daylighters up front or rewire the underhood lights to a regular switch to free up an auxiliary switch inside.
2. It effectively means I’ll no longer be able to lower the windshield as disconnecting these would be a bit of a pain (makes a 5 minute job a 30 minute job).
They’re not hooked up yet but should they stay or go?
