New Jeep owner last year (April). Bought the dual top packaged and negotiated for the dealership to install my soft top for me.
This year I installed it myself (easy peasy), but I haven't put the windows on yet because it's just been so nice in SE Wisconsin this May/June.
Anyway... last year I had a hell of a time putting my windows back in after I removed them the few times I did it last summer. I tried different angles and everything, but it was always really hard to get them to slide down the track and then even more difficult to latch the plastic part under the lip of the jeep bed. Same thing with the back window and getting both sides underneath the lip on the sides of the side window.
Does anyone have any surefire ways to put their windows on. Is there a lube or grease anyone has used to make the windows slide in and out easier. I've even thought about using WD40 to make this an easier process but I don't want to run the risk of staining my top.
Thanks in advance.
