Hi,

I have 2018 Wrangler Rubicon JLU hardtop parked in front of my house. Here in LA, we did have some heavy rain since last week. While I was washing my car, I noticed that there were water dripping mark next to the plastic sill on the driver side. I lifted the rubber floor mats and the carpet floor was soaked. I checked the passenger side and both the driver and the passenger flooring was wet. Is anyone having the same issue? Any advice?

Take it in for warranty to have them check the weather strip seals. Hardtops leaks more than soft tops.

Cliche, but honestly it's a Jeep thing.

Live in same LA storm. No leak. Dribbles when I open the door, but hey, it is also designed to ford 30" water. I'm good with that.

Watch near the end, Mine ended up being the two small plastic channels have collapsed. Even though the dealer has ordered a new one, a small piece of weather stripping has fixed my leak. So nice to have a dry Jeep.

I experienced the same issue today. It rained heavily here in NJ for the past few days and today when washing my Jeep I noticed that the driver side carpet was soaked under my WeatherTech floor mats. The passenger side was completely dry. Iā€™m hoping that it is just water that drained in from the hard top when entering/exiting the Jeep. I vacuumed as much of the water out and lifted the carpet up to let it dry over night.

Hi kacper244,
We're sorry to see that you have experienced this. If this continues to happen and you decide to have your dealer address this, please send our team a private message and we would be happy to add an additional layer of assistance to this process.
