This thread is bat crazy. Feel like I just walked in a psych ward inadvertently.

Happened to me 6 times now.
1- about 900 miles (first time) ran an errand in the jeep - forgot wallet came back to the shop, shut down, for about 5-10 minutes went out to start and nothing. Everything battery working but wouldn't crank or anything. Dang. Call dealership they tell me to call roadside assistance. - Also, before that I had someone else try to start it in case I was missing something. Wont start. Service guy has me reset the system on the key fob. Also tried to start it using the key fob. Nothing. Roadside calls about 30 minutes later I try to start the Jeep again. and it starts.
2- Next day I leave from my trip from Colorado to Oregon. Get gas in Boise, walk the dogs, bathroom, get back in Jeep. Won't start. Call roadside assistance. While waiting I call dealer service in that area. He has no idea. About 20 minutes later. It starts. Totally random. I must have gotten gas or stopped 5 times before I got to Boise with no problems. (after the last fail I only got gas in near a dealership and didn't shut down for short periods, just left it running)
3- Get back from Oregon. Take an hour drive to the mountains, stop in a little wayside (no phone or internet reception) walk the dogs. Get in. Won't start. Fiddled with everything inside. Even under the hood to see anything obvious. Nothing. Starts about 20 minutes later.
Get back from Oregon at 4600 miles and it happens again. Made appointment with dealer to get oil change, tires rotate and computer - Nothing. They can't duplicate and they see nothing.
Happened Three more times (Twice this last weekend)...I have been talking with the lemon law people (number in the little book) I got in the Jeep. I have an appointment this week with another dealer service to check it out.
Today and yesterday for a few hours each I have been trying to duplicate here in my shop. Starting and shutting down. Keep track of the time in between. Can't duplicate.
This is not good. I need reliable transport. Especially being in the mountains and without cell or internet service a lot of the time. Help! Please! Any ideas out there? Thanks for reading.
If you read the entire thread, there are also a bunch of JLs that have similar issues, so it had morphed into a JL thread too.Folks, this is a thread about a JK. It does not belong on this forum! Pick a thread about JLs not starting!
@TrassaE95This just happened to me this morning on my 2018 JLUR 6 speed. Won't start, dead in my driveway. Everything lights up. Key fobs were in the house. It is about 10 degrees here, so of course nothing is working at the worst time. I am going to wait a half an hour, and then call road side assistance. @JeepCares , I made a video of this, and am not pleased. As others here have said, a $50k vehicle should not have these issues.
Thanks for the response. Even if the gear box is in neutral and the transmission is in neutral?@TrassaE95
When Road Service shows up, tell them the JL will not be able to be jump started with a 12v battery pack.
Tell the guy to jump start the regular old way with jumper cables between his truck and your JL. IF it will jump start, this is the way.. again, a battery pack jump start, will not work.
IF your JL needs to be taken to the dealership by Road Service, it must be transported on a flat bed truck. Do not let him tow the vehicle.
@TrassaE95
I encourage you to find a towing service that has a flat bed truck. FCA warns AGAINST dolly towing the Wrangler JL/JLU. You never dolly tow with either just the front or just the rear wheel off the ground.
Do read about this in your JL owner's manual.
Also here is a forum post that you will want to read:

Confirmed. They are sending a flatbed. Thanks again for the heads up!@TrassaE95
You do not have an automatic, so you do not need to know about the Park Override Release. Just do not tow it, DO flat bed it.
Will do. Things hit at a bad time, as always. If it happens again, I doubt I will be a JL owner for much longer. Can't afford to have a vehicle that is unreliable.@TrassaE95
I encourage you to take all this in stride. I had a no start issue with my JL.... not fun.
Reality is, chitt happens whether you own a 100k, a 50k ,etc. vehicle. Get it to the dealer and they will remedy the issue. Very well... probably is a simple fix.
Do have the dealer update the pcm while you are there, like I mentioned earlier.
Let us know what the deal is/was with your JL after it is fixed.
