Hi all , Newbie to the jeep world and have a question. This is my first jeep and post here . I read a lot about the Rubicon on here and see a lot of them fixed up and doing trails . Will the jeep I bought be ok to do light to med trails and is it a ok 4wd vehicle ? Only have 1800 miles on it .

Someone more knowledgeable than me can confirm:

Big difference between Rubi and sport ...
lockers (JK rubicon didn’t have this)
Sway bar disconnects (jk rubicon didn’t have this)
Suspension, so 1.5” higher

Sport w AT tires is as capable as 2018 Rubi and will handle most trails that most people would take on.

I think all of this is true.

I don't really know what you're talking about, or maybe it's the way you worded it--

The JL RUBICON has the same lockers/swaybar disco and xfer case that the JK had--it's JUST UPDATED/IMPROVED-

yes and easily. Any Wrangler is better than just about anything out there. The Rubicon is icing on the cake.

ALL Rubicons starting with the first one in 2003 (TJ), have factory lockers. Electric disconnecting sway bars started with the JK in 2007.

:edit: Yes OP, your Sport wiill do fine off road on light to moderate trails.
