4:1 Rock-Trac HD transfer case out of a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon. It was mated to the new automatic transmission so I’m not sure if this will work with the manual transmission. The Jeep it came out of had around 2,300 miles so this is practically brand new in great working condition. I bought it for my project but ended up going with an ATLAS so I do not need this anymore. This would be a perfect upgrade for anyone with a JL sport or Sahara and I think it will also work for the Gladiator sport or overland models as well. Located in Harrisburg PA and I’m asking $1400, PM me if you’re interested or have any questions and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you!

Auto only works with auto and manual with manual. Different spline counts on transmission output shaft. I believe the auto is 23 spline and manual 41 spline.

Good luck with sale! Someone will pick it up.

I wanted to post here because I just bought the same part elsewhere (except AC revision) and according to this site it fits both transmissions. I am hoping that when mine comes in I don't have a problem.

https://www.factorychryslerparts.com/products/Jeep/TRANSFER-CASE-MP1622C/13221332/68240441AC.html

Follow that link and midway down is a tab that says "what this fits" and hit "show more".
Yeah I’m not to sure about the details of them, from the link you shared it seems like you’re correct that they will fit either but with out personal experience I can’t say. I bought this one with plans to swap it in a YJ but turns out that no one makes an adapter kit for it yet so it wouldn’t work for my situation.

I swapped in a rubi t-case and talked with an engineer who works for the OEM T-case MFG in Michigan before I did the swap. He said I need to get the t-case made for the 6 speed bc I have a manual and they are not one size fits all.

Thank you for posting this, I definitely take the word of an engineer who designed it. Thank you very much for sharing that info.

Lol I wasn’t making it up when I said auto only fits auto and manual only fits manual

I have personal experience. I took out my transfer case to put in the Rubicon case I bought and to my surprise it didn’t fit! Completely different spline count on the transmission output shaft. 23 vs 41.

Returned it and got the correct t case.

Haha I didn’t mean for it to sound like I didn’t believe you, more saying that having multiple sources confirm it was reassuring. It’s crazy that the spline count is that different. Is the mounting surface/bolt pattern the same and just the spline count different? Just so I know for future knowledge
