2018 Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU Price (MSRP) Officially Released!

Jeep has raised prices since these documents were first released at the LA Auto Show. The pricing information below is no longer apparently valid.

The documents shown here are what FCA sent to its LA show reps. The Jeep rep at the show sent me this (you are seeing it exactly as it is on her iPad and then sent to me).

Pricing breakdown:

2-Door JL
Sport - $26,195 ($2,200 more than 2017 JK)
Sport S - $29,095 ($2,100 more than 2017 JK)
Rubicon - $36,395 ($2,750 more than 2017 JK)

4-Door JLU
Sport - $29,995 ($2,100 more than 2017 JKU)
Sport S - $33,195 ($2,100 more than 2017 JKU)
Sahara - $36,995 ($2,700 more than 2017 JKU)
Rubicon - $40,195 ($2,750 more than 2017 JKU)

Wheels are black! And they are sharp! One of the best looking wheels IMHO among all of the JLs there. I commented on another thread, but the Jeep rep at the show (take this with a grain of salt; she was sketchy on a number of details) told me disappointing things:

Only the JL Rubicon weighs less than its predecessor; all other JL rigs, despite the extensive use of aluminum, weigh more than their JK predecessors (don't know how this breaks down between the JL and the JLU).

So the Pentastar is the upgrade engine, but the BSG is not available in the base configuration with the manual transmission. Interesting mix of both rumours.

Notice that that 268HP number showed up as expected.

It looks like DanW was correct about the Rubicon rims standard/option, but the Hella Yella came with blacked out Rims while the planner above shows them to be more accented than solid black.

Phew that pricing is a relief and more like the increase Jay's been saying. Also looks like more confirmation the Nacho name got changed to Hella Yella sometime after August. Been waiting to see Punk'n and Sting-Gray and there you go, those 2 may be on top of my list now.

I like the Sport S wheels better than the rest of them. But $33,195 plus roughly $2500 for the automatic/hardtop and $1100 for delivery brings my configuration to about $37,000 plus tax. Damn, better start digging my change out of the couch.
