2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL 12-inch Infotainment System Upgrade

I can tell in this photo they just put a picture of the RAM display over the top of the normal display.

But if they do bring this to market it sure would be a interesting upgrade.

No. The 8.4inch display is big enough. I really dislike the look of these screens that look like someone taped an iPad to the dash.

It's photoshopped in (and using a poor job at that), but it's an interesting question. I love that display in my Ram, because it's the first NAV system mapping where I can read the street names without having to put on reading glasses (OK, I'm over 40), but in the Rubi it would seem too much for me. I am perfectly happy with the 8.4 - even when I can't read the street names!

These radios are garbage. I bought one and took it out a week later. Was buggy, locked up, wifi was extremely slow and that's what it relied on. Waste of money....Looked great though.

I would like it for the split screen functions of it. I like how you can have half the screen be navigation and half be radio. I really wish I could do that with Waze in my Jeep

It would be nice if Jeep supported ANY infotainment upgrade....

Functionality looks great, but it seems like it’s just TOO big to be integrated tastefully into the Jeep dash without compromising other controls or looking like an awkward afterthought slapped in there.
