I will argue the Wagoneer was truly the last over-engineered vehicle Jeep ever made. Those things were absolutely indestructible and yet insanely comfortable. You could never pass a gas station in one of them, though.Cancel my Jl Rubicon order and give me this please.
That didnāt take long.... FLMAOFCA needs to spend some of their money and time on my 2dr Rubicon order and lest time on concept vehicles they also will not get to production with. You maybe right about the 2018 JL 2dr being a concept vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
check out: http://stocktonwheel.com/heavy_duty.htmlI love to see a good wagoneer, and the Half Doors and stylized hard top on the Jeepster is cool.
Now I really, really, really want a 2-door with the Unlimited wheelbase.First live pics.
Plenty of sweet, sweet LJs out there. Now I really, really, really want a 2-door with the Unlimited wheelbase.
I can all but guarantee that the effort Jeep applies to their concept vehicles does not delay the production line. What amazes me is thereās 4 prototypes built from the 2 door JL model but Jeep is delaying the actual production of the 2 door, for what? Yeah FCA has their sh.....t together, anything for their own bottom line or marketing scheme; nothing as usual to appease the loyal customer.
So, does Jeep actually use the concept vehicles on the trails or are they just on display? Donāt really care either way, Iām just curious. Here is the one I wish they would build:
Cool video. Thanks.
Oh yeah; Iām very sure youāre correct. Just trying to shame FCA, if thatās possible, into getting their act together to be responsible enough to do what theyāre in business for; producing Jeep Wrangler product. Primarily the 2 door model.I can all but guarantee that the effort Jeep applies to their concept vehicles does not delay the production line.
I believe they are, in some ultra-expensive form.... bringing back the Wagoneer seems like a no brainer.
I know it is frustrating but it is not a 2 door issue. It is a multitude of options issue. As some have noted they do not have X option or Y option and hope they appear in later model years. This is because it is difficult to offer a LOT of options and deliver on time. I think FCA is staggering releases due to the amount of options available in this new design at launch. Hell I ordered Punk'n Orange and had seen more than one post that they will not be building Jeeps with that color until April. Now a few have gone out but the majority are on hold. Throw in the issue with not having enough soft tops and we get to where we are.Oh yeah; Iām very sure youāre correct.
