I recently purchased a 2012 Wrangler Sahara. I was using a USB C to A cable to use apple car play through the USB in the dash. It was at the dealership, non-Jeep, for about six weeks for engine work, and when I got it back I continually get "incompatible USB" messages on the after market receiver. The receiver was in the Jeep when I purchased it, and I was able to play music with my iPhone before returning it for the engine work, but that should have had no affect on the USB. I have been unable to find an Apple brand USB C to A cord, but I am fairly certain the cable I previously used was not an apple brand. Any ideas how I can get back to using the USB to use apple play, as apple play does not work wirelessly.

I’d be willing to bet you’ll solve your problem with an Apple cord.
Sounds like an iOS update may have caused an issue between dropping it off for work and you picking it up.

Apple does not make that cable, or at least they do not sell one on their website, nor on Amazon. Or at least I have not been able to find one.
