When I was young, I had no problem wheeling solo. Spent 3 days on one solo -self recovery. Eventually had to hitchhike back to town, grab my buddy, my dad's 4x4, and a hand winch. No biggie. Now I don't like to go anywhere with moderate difficulty solo - too many horror stories on this forum. Broken FAD, ESS, and more.
I found a
2006 Jeep Rubicon (4.0L, auto) with hardtop and half doors (soft windows).Just over 103,000 miles. CEL and her mechanic couldn't figure out the CEL problem. only $10K
My buddy would be thrilled to back me up when the club isn't going. I'd also have a loaner rig for my nieces and nephews when they come to Hawaii.
google hasn't convince me the 2 door TJ rubicons have front & rear lockers. I'm finding it hard to get up to speed on the issues & capability of thr TJR. I don't even know the correct TLA's.
I guess I need to spend more time reading in the TJ General Discussion forum.
