There's a excel sheet someone posted on here that has all the invoice prices. Although that was before the increase.
Thanks. I have all of the previous numbers. I tracked down a window sticker and was able to confirm the MSRP for the Rubicon is $53,505 now, but I haven't been able to find the FWP price yet.

Is it a premium though?

To get the JL rubicon with the same features as the 4xe Rubicon comes with standard you'd pay:
  • 42475 base
  • 1495 destination fee
  • 1995 Premium Audio Group/8.4in Uconnect
  • 1500 8 speed automaticRE Transmission
  • 695 4:1 Rock-Trac Heavy Duty Transfer Case
  • 1365 LED Lighting Group
So you're sitting at 49525 msrp on a 2.0T wrangler. Compared to the current 'base' price of the 4xe rubicon of 53,190. A difference of 3665$. If you choose the manual v6 you save another 1500$, so the premium becomes 5165.

With a 2500$ base price increase, the difference is now 7665. So after the tax credit, it's a premium of $165 to get all the HP and Torque if your state offers no incentives. If you wanted to have an auto transmission, you're instead saving 1335$ by going with the 4xe.

Now as for longer term purchases, this changes when it becomes a trade off if you're looking at heavily loaded wranglers. With the old pricing, you'd have a full year after stellantis hits 200k vehicles to still come out ahead (because you get another 6 months of buy time with 50% tax credit) whereas now you 'need' to buy within six months of stellantis hitting 200k to come out ahead, with another 6 months being closer to similar if you want an automatic transmission.

The sahara version is basically the same price difference.

Of course, if you were going to aftermarket everything and didn't want the transfer case, the premium audio or LED lights, then you're being 'forced' to pay for features.

I've never been so offended by a comment that I absolutely agree with.
I think your numbers are not correct.
The base price for the 4xe of $53190 is after the price increase. My sticker for the 4xe rubicon on the order I placed in Nov shows the original base msrp of $51695.

The base price for a gas only rubicon from the Jeep web site is $43970 not $42475

.

The cost of a comparable gas only Rubicon is:
Base $43970
2.0 L with auto transmission $1500
8.4 inch Alpine $1995
LED group. $1365
Rock track. $695
Total. $49525

So before the price increase , 4xe premium was $2170.

With the $7500 tax credit, the 4xe cost was $5300 less than the gas only.

With the new increased 4xe base price of $53190, the 4xe premium is $3665. But with the $7500 tax credit it is still $3835 less than the gas only model.

The new rubicon 4xe base price is $53,505.
Not according to the Jeep web site. On the web site a 4xe Rubicon with white paint(no paint surcharge) is $53190. Is your figure from a dealer?

I guess the website is behind. My sticker was printed on 5/3

Edit: the price for sting gray is added in the other column

I can’t argue with a sticker. I guess the base price is 53505.
in any event , the 4xe is still $3520 lower than a gas model with the tax credit.

Well I ordered my car on April 30th and got a VON.
just got my sticker (yes crazy fast the car is built and shipped already).
and the sticker is higher!
I just don't get how an order marked sold with a VON can have a price increase.
has anyone felt with this yet at the dealer level.

I’ll be picking mine up this week and am in the same situation. My dealer has assured me that it won’t change what I pay.

Picked mine up tonight. Was not an issue on the price. Sticker was higher but paperwork was as agreed to.

I’ve been too busy driving the new Jeep to check the forum as much. My experience was the same. The salesman said a deal was a deal and there were no issues. He even had the window sticker laminated for me.

When will production of MY21 stop for the 392. Anyone know how it all works. If you have VIN and a "D" status what are the odds the unit gets built as a MY21.
Well this is a 4xe thread, however I can tell you a dealer told me Jeep is only making 1300 of the 392s so it may just be a trial run for 2021 and we'll see for 2022
