Update: The $2000 price increase is now being confirmed by multiple sources.

I just got a quote on a Rubicon 4xe from Travis at Tri-City and he lists the base Rubicon MSRP as $53,505 - almost $2000 higher than what's on the Jeep website today. I am reaching out to him for clarification but it sounds like there might really be a price increase after all...
I just was contacted by my sales person, base price is going up by $2,000. Price increase confirmed!

Not to start a Panic this was reported on another forum and I quote "Interesting phone call I just got from my salesman and sales manager. They said that Chrysler is about to announce a $25,000 increase on all 4xe orders starting Monday. Anyone hear anything like that?"
Also this was posted in that same thread

That screenshot is typical month end incentive.

As far as $25k increase I think that's probably for the 392, not the 4xe. Dealers are selling the 392 easily over $10k and I think corporate is seeing that.

Doubt the 4xe goes up.

Who know how legit on the $25K but is was from a 1st hand 4xe buyer. The FCA notice , there are NEVER wrangler rebates or incentive publicized that is likely FCA telling the dealer no more support/holdback for below invoice sales. That was also a Canadian notice. Look with the cost increased on Metal and components prices especially for products high in demand will increase.

Just got clarification, there is a $25K increase however it is a company wide computer thing that will be fixed early next week. Although the FCA notice is not explained yet

I was actually talking to a dealer today, and he said he fell off his chair when he added the mopar headliner to my build and the price went up to $79K. He called the powers that be, and apparently there is a glitch in the system that they said will be fixed by Monday.

No need for panic - haha

I put in an order for a 4xe this afternoon. The dealer said the system was down and that it should be up by tomorrow or Monday at the latest. Glitch in the matrix I guess!

Oh my, on another thread they're saying that, at whatever ~50 MPG means and with the $7500 climate change rebate, they recoup their cost for the 4xe at about the same rate as if they bought a regular old gas wrangler. So, I sure hope this is just another Q conspiracy theory because, if FCA/Stellawhatsiss really does raise the 4xe price an additional $25K, well, there's going be some real consternation in mall country. We'll be hearing them wail from the men's business apparel section in Nordstroms all the way through the mall and out to the Jack in the Crack in the parking lot.

Well, it's May 1st and the Jeep site isn't showing a $25K increase. From the start this sounded like a salesman scaretactic to get someone off the fence.

$25K increase on any of the Jeep lineup would pretty much instantly kill that line. It's too big of a margin.

The $25K was temporarily real however there was a system wide malfunction that caused it and it has been under repair and ordering shut down. What is real is the Canadian FCA price/incentive change.

I went to a dealer today. We did not like the available colors. We opted to order a new one in Hella Yella. He called me later to say that there will be a price increase starting on Tuesday. The salesman did not know how much but said the price will change since it’s based on pickup day not date of order. Any thoughts or should I buy one on Monday?

If you save $3K over 5 years, is it worth it took look at a car everyday that you wish was a different color?
That answer is different for everyone.

Yeah, but I think referring to a glitch as a "price increase" is a little misleading too.

IDK ask those that were quoted the price increase originally they too it seriously at first...
